Basic furniture items are provided in all TSRA staff housing.

Furniture items that are provided are as follows:

  • Lounge suite or sofa
  • Dining table & chairs
  • Coffee Table
  • Entertainment unit
  • Beds (quantity to meet tenant’s needs)
  • Refrigerator
  • Chest type freezer
  • Washing machine
  • Clothes Dryer
  • Outdoor setting (table & chairs)

The furniture may be either new or second-hand.

Requests for additional / alternative furniture to better meet the needs of the tenant and his / her family residing in the property can be made to the Assets Officer.

Tenants will be given an inventory of the furniture supplied at the time of occupying the property.

TSRA will carry out an inventory check and monitor the condition of furniture through regular property inspections and will replace furniture as required.

Furniture requiring replacement may be replaced with second-hand furniture.

Tenants may be charged for any missing or damaged furniture arising from misuse or neglect.

TSRA furniture must not be removed from the property without the consent of the TSRA.

It is the tenant's responsibility to advise TSRA immediately of any missing or damaged furniture items.
